Having just taken in a screening of the wonderful new film, “Blue Valentine,” I share my thoughts on the subject of romance lost, and how:
- Most failed relationships are doomed from the start
- No woman wants to raise a child as a husband
- Arguments of subtext in real life (and the film) lead to disaster
- You can’t marry a romantic if you are a realist
- Guys must have real ambition in life in order to be attractive to a woman
