Hello folks! Sadly, my cat Ketone died this week, and I dedicate tonight’s show to her, as well as all of you. Dealing with loss and pain is an unavoidable part of life, and the sooner you realize that, the better off you’ll be. Enjoy!

How to Break Up With Someone: Revisited

Good evening! Tonight, I wax poetic about:

  • Why you should check out a lecture on gardening even if that’s the last thing you should do
  • The awesomeness that is Tony Bennet
  • How to Break Up With Someone Properly
  • Something women (in general) are dead wrong about, and how their men should handle it
  • And oh so much more

Enjoy!

The Big Sick and Cross-Cultural Dating

Good evening! Tonight, I wax poetic and shoot the breeze about:

  • The pitfalls one encounters when you date outside of your own, “tribe.”
  • A review of the recent film on the above subject, “The Big Sick.”
  • I also watched the first three episodes of, “GLOW,” and the jury is still out.
  • The kind of man I want Jack to grow up to be, and why that isn’t necessarily a good thing

Enjoy!

Good evening, what’s going on? Tonight, I wax my board about

  • Further thoughts on Netflix’s, “13 Reasons Why.” I finished the show and read the book as well.
  • Slate’s article criticizing the show. I agree with some of it. I think.
  • Regrets I’m still having about the past and how the show triggered some things. Yes. Triggered.
  • Re-watching, “True Blood.”

13 Reasons Why

Recently, I pulled the trigger and watched the first episode of the recent (and excellent) Netflix series, “13 Reasons Why.” A few days later, I’m 9 episodes (Tape 5, Side A) in, and tonight, I wax poetic about high school, sexual assault, and how I once heard a story and didn’t react properly. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you hear it.
